I heart white space

I can't get enough of Scandinavian design, in particular Scandinavian interior design and styling.

So much white space, so much natural light, ultra modern - yet simple furnishings, lots of natural exposed timber ...
ahhh I could just go on forever!

I simply adore!

Cider anyone?

This is the cutest pack design that i've seen in quite some time.
I love cider any which way, but drinking cider from a cute carton / bottle like this... even better!

Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia

These gorgeous pictures are from an old 2007 Italian Vogue.
Photographed and directed by Steven Meisel.

It's a total sensory overload of colours, prints and patterns, but in a bizarre way it works so well.
They're all so unique yet stunning, and all so very Italian Vogue.

Love. It.

Don't know what colour to wear?

This is crazy amazing... (and a little creepy)
Pimkie colour forecaster tells you what are the hottest colours being worn in three fashion forward European cities; Antwerp, Paris & Milan.
How? By scanning through a range of live images and videos and then nailing it down to a single pantone swatch.
And just incase you don't already own anything in that colour, Pimkie even goes to the trouble of generating an array of fashions in that colour that are available for you to purchase online.
So thoughtful!

Check it!

Vinyl

They should make all vinyl coloured.

I found this over at

Plural is a Chicago based creative studio working in mixed medias, looking to push the design process to get the most out of their briefs not only for themselves creatively, but ultimately for their clients.

Heaps of other rad stuff to check out there too!

Typographic Years

These are super awesome... if like me, you love minimalist design and bright colours - then i'm sure you'll agree!

They're by a dude named Simon Page who has done a whole set of years in typographic form.

I feel like it's kind of a puzzle looking at them trying to figure them out.

Prints are for purchase over at

I want.

The Man Who Invented the Future

These illustrations are from a 1960's book by Jules Verne called 'The Man Who Invented the Future', the beautiful illustrations are by Peter P. Plasencia.

I'm generally a sucker for all things colourful but there's something so lovely about these grey scale gouache illustrations.

I simply adore them!

Festival of Dance, UK

These posters were designed by Amy Rodchester for the Newcastle Festival of Dance in the UK.

I adore the simple muted pastel colour palettes she's chosen and of course the whole collage thing she's got going on using the same shape repeated with different images of dancing feet inside.

So simple, yet so effective.

Love. It.
