Benja Harney

Benja Harney is a Sydney based paper extraordinaire!

Benja hand crafts and creates the most amazing and beautiful things from something as common and mundane as paper!

The self confessed paper nerd has long been crafting and creating bits and pieces for editorial, advertisements, pop up books, fashion, packaging and magazine illustration.

On his job as a paper engineer, a self invented title
"Paper is my passion... I love the contradictions: Strong / delicate  vs  complex / simple

Paper is such humble medium to work with. It inspires and challenges me every time I sit down at my cutting mat.

I strive for creativity and perfection in every project I undertake."

So amazing!

We've all got a soft spot for Miss Monroe

“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.”
- Marilyn Monroe

Is there anyone out there that doesn't love Marilyn, even if only a little bit?

Megan Hess

I'm a sucker for pretty illustrations, and here is yet another illustrator that I couldn't resist.
I read about fashion illustrator, Megan Hess recently in Harper's Bazaar, I can't even remember what the article was about, but I do remember her cute illustration which accompanied the article.

I began looking at her work online & on her website and I began to recognise some of Megan's work that I had seen around.
Shall I begin to rattle off some of this young Melbourne illustrator's clients?
How about Vogue, Chanel, Bloomingdales as well as Tiffany & Co.
Oh and she also did the book cover's for Candace Bushnell's chic & girly novels, of those including the Sex & the City series.

She also sells a selection of gorgeous prints from her website - www.meganhess.com

Definitely pop over and have a look!

Happy browsing

My new favourite thing!

I stumbled across this website randomly, and I am so glad I did!
If you like things clean and orderly, much like I do - then this website will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Things organized neatly is a tumblr, curated by Indianapolis design student Austen Radcliffe. It is an archive of images of 'things organized neatly'.

Now i'm not OCD and Radcliffe denies being OCD too, but there is something oh so pleasurable about the  order and organization of random items whether it be a flower pulled apart and laid out (yes that means every petal painstakingly removed & then organized!) or simply laying out your outfit for the day along with accessories.

Check out some of these fab images i've found on his tumblr.
And of course head on over to thingsorganizedneatly.tumblr.com  and check it out for yourself, OCD or not I guarantee there will be at least one image you find amusing, if not amazing.
